Duffy Wins Boulder Sprint Triathlon In Colorado

On Sunday [June 16] Bermuda’s Flora Duffy won the Boulder Sprint Triathlon in Colorado, finishing in a time of 1:08.36.

Duffy said, “This is the first triathlon I’ve done since November. The first race back always hurts like heck. I had a great swim. Pretty mediocre bike. The run was OK. It was a hard day for me. It didn’t feel as comfortable hard as it should’ve been. It was just me hanging on all day.”

After the race the two-time Olympian tweeted, “I won a running race on Mother’s Day for my mom and today I won a triathlon on Father’s Day for my dad. Thanks for being the best dad ever.”
