Mr. Nash has been a member of CURB for a number of years having previously been a Member at Large on the Central Council and more recently a member of CURB’s Communications Working Group. He is particularly interested in continuing CURB’s existing advocacy, education, racial justice and reconciliation efforts while bringing more focus to the areas of racial healing and community engagement.

Mr. Nash currently works in a risk management role in the reinsurance industry. He has been involved in racial justice work with CURB since 2006. He has participated in public meetings, attended international conferences in a CURB capacity, was a panelist at one of the Bermuda Race Relations Initiative panel discussions, and has previously facilitated public dialogues on race related issues both with CURB and with related efforts following the BRRI. He has also written and spoken publicly about his ancestors’ documented history as slaveholders in Bermuda, particularly in the case of Mary Prince.

CURB said they wishes to thank Cordell Riley for his continued dedication to the organization, particularly in his role as President, which he held from June 2011.
