Wayne Furbert, MP for Constituency #6 added, “Being elected to represent the people of Hamilton Parish is an honour and I am pleased to be a part of an event that celebrates the family and young people of our community. I encourage everyone to join us as we celebrate the beginning of summer and the people who make our area a great place to live.”
The PLP’s Community Family Fun Day will feature:
- A showcase of our talented youth
- Face painting
- Tug of war
- A bike skills and drills track
- Majorette and dance groups
- Lenky Boy Movement
“The highlight of the day will undoubtably be the football match between the MPs and Hamilton Parish,” said Mr. Derrick Burgess. “Last year, there were a lot of sore knees and people who had to take to their bed immediately after the match. This year, I understand that all the players on our side are in fighting form and ready to bring home a win!”
