Today’s Queens Birthday Parade Cancelled

The Queen’s Birthday Parade, which was due to take place on Front Street this morning [June 15] has been cancelled due to the weather.

A spokesperson for the Bermuda Regiment said, “Owing to what has been predicted to be an exceptionally wet and windy morning, His Excellency has made the decision to cancel the Queen’s Birthday Parade this year.”

The Bermuda Weather Service has issued a Thunderstorm Advisory valid for this morning to this afternoon.

The Capital G Iron Kids Triathlon which was due to take place at Clearwater is also cancelled, however the Highland Games will still take place this afternoon at the Saltus School field.

    The ART WALK IN THE EAST is STILL ON TODAY… it will start from 4:00- until… we will relocate artists and performers indoors, check the WORLD HERITAGE CENTRE by Penno’s first and go from there :)
