BCB Premier Cricket Division Weekend Results

A number of cricket games took place this past weekend, with St. David’s Cricket Club, Devonshire Recreation Club, St. George’s Cricket Club, Somerset Cricket Club, Willow Cuts and Bailey’s Bay all recording wins.

St. David’s Cricket Club Win by 5 Wickets: Southampton Rangers 114 St. David’s Cricket Club 116/5

At the Southampton Oval, the St. David’s Cricket Club won the toss and sent the Southampton Rangers to bat, they bowled them all out for 114. Dion Stovell the Southampton Rangers captain was the top scorer with 42, while Janeiro Tucker added 27. Rudell Pitcher was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 9-1-33-4 and Del Hollis bowled 6-1-17-2.

In reply St. David’s Cricket Club scored 116/5, Fiqre Crockwell was the top scorer with 31 not out, while Justin Pitcher added 26 and Rudell Pitcher scored 26 not out. Derrick Brangman was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 10-3-26-2 and Dwayne Leverock bowled 6-1-29-1.

Devonshire Recreation Club Win by 36 Runs: Devonshire Recreation Club 174 Western Stars 138

At the Devonshire Rec. the Devonshire Recreation Club batted first and were bowled all out for 174, Keneik Wallen was their top scorer with 75, while Keishon Smith added 22, Seth Campbell was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers returning figures of 7-0-25-4, while Rohan Davis bowled 10-1-20-3 and Phillip Thomas bowled 9-1-33-3.

In reply the Central County Cup champions were bowled all out for 138, Davis was the top scorer with 29, while Tamiko Wilson added 19, Jodi Maroni was the pick of the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 10-1-27-3 and Shawn DeGraff bowled 10-1-34-3.

St. George’s Cricket Club Win by 179 Runs: St. George’s Cricket Club 299/8 Somerset Bridge 120

At the White Hill Field, the Somerset Bridge won the toss and sent the St. George’s Cricket Club to bat, they scored 299/8 in their allotted 50 overs, captain Oronde Bascome was the top scorer with 104, Micah Simmons added 84 and Misheal Paynter added 57. Shawn Riley was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 7-0-36-2, while Noel Woods bowled 10-0-57-2.

In reply, Somerset Bridge were bowled all out for 120, Ryan Sheppard was the top scorer with 34, while Dwayne Simons added 18. Akeem Trott was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 6-0-26-3, while Simmons bowled 6-0-18-2.

Somerset Cricket Club Win by 9 Wickets: PHC 72 Somerset Cricket Club 76/1

At the Somerset Cricket Club, PHC were bowled all out for 72, Dunte Wellman was the top scorer with 25, while Charles Symons added 17. Justin Corday was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 6-1-25-5, while Jacobi Robinson bowled 7-3-16-3.

In reply Jordan DeSilva scored 35 not out and Greg Maybury scored 20 not out as the Somerset Cricket Club scored 76/1, Charles Trott was the only PHC wicket taker with figures of 3-0-15-1.

Willow Cuts Win by 9 Wickets: Flatt’s Victoria 116 Willow Cuts 120/1

At Lord’s in St. David’s, Flatt’s Victoria were bowled all out for 116, Chris Daley was their top scorer with 29, while Cofield Robinson added 24, Kevon Fubler was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 5.3-1-18-3, while David Adams bowled 5-0-25-3.

In reply Dexter Basden scored 76 not out as Willow Cuts scored 120/1 winning by 9 wickets, Chris Douglas added 25. Paul Carr was the only Flatt’s Victoria bowler to grab a wicket returning figures of 5-1-21-1.

Bailey’s Bay Win by 172 Runs: Bailey’s Bay 327/7 Warwick Workmen’s 155

At the Sea Breeze Oval, Ryan Steede scored 93 not out as Bailey’s Bay scored 327/7 in their allotted 50 overs. Rodney Trott added 77 and Kyle Hodsoll scored 52. De-Shaun Benjamin was the pick of the Warwick Workmen’s bowlers returning figures of 10-0-41-3.

In reply Warwick were bowled all out for 155, player-coach Lionel Cann was their top scorer with 97, while Cal Dill led the Bailey’s Bay bowling attack with figures of 6-2-19-3.
