BF&M Staff Volunteer With Habitat Bermuda
On Tuesday [July 2] 27 BF&M employees rolled up their sleeves and volunteered with Habitat Bermuda to refurbish a west end home.
Habitat Bermuda, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, focuses on engaging the community in a collaborative process to build or renovate homes for families in need.
BF&M CEO John Wight said, “BF&M is proud to partner Habitat Bermuda on this initiative. Projects like this allow BF&M to show our commitment to the community. By simply volunteering our time, we’ve managed to help Habitat Bermuda and a family in need.
“I am extremely proud of the BF&M team as this specific project was initiated entirely by our staff who wanted to find a way to meaningfully give back to the community.”
Nicola Feldman, Director of the Coalition for the Protection of Children which runs Habitat Bermuda said, “On behalf of Habitat Bermuda and the family we assisted, I am so incredibly thankful to BF&M. Without their hard work we would not have been able to complete the project.” For more information on Habitat Bermuda visit their website here.
