  1. What ya think? says:

Sweet….2000 more visitors to the island. Sports Tourism seems to be the pull lately, but where are they all going to stay. I say turn the Grand Atlantic Complex into a Sports Accommodation Complex, and let’s really start pushing the Sports Tourism. We have that new aquatic complex, sailing, football, rugby, cricket, track and field, squash, tennis. Bermuda has some world class athletes in all of the mentioned sports, just read the sports section. Each of these sports occur at different times of the year, almost guaranteeing year round accommodation.

I say put the focus there, and lets get some more green money into the island. What ya think?

Many are staying at school gyms due to cost constraints and availability of rooms. I am sure I will see lots of spenders in town starting next week should be great for Bermuda business and the compitition should be fierce and fun to watch for local sports fans.
