Centre On Philanthropy Appoints New Manager
The Centre on Philanthropy announced the appointment of Ms. Lynne Matcham as the new Marketing & Communications Coordinator effective July 1, 2013.
Elaine Williams, Executive Director states: “We are delighted to have someone of Ms. Matcham’s calibre to join our team.
“She is an excellent complement to our dynamic team and we look forward to learning from and working together with her to accomplish our mission.
“The Centre on Philanthropy works to promote and advocate for an effective and sustainable Third Sector by providing training & education, fostering collaboration and supporting volunteerism.
“Ms. Matcham’s extensive skills and expertise will be integral in achieving our strategic goal to improve capacity in nonprofits, increase contributions to the community by volunteers and to create greater public awareness of Bermuda’s Third Sector and The Centre on Philanthropy.”
Ms. Matcham’s experience in marketing and communications includes having served as the Marketing Manager for Gibbons Company for several years, the Internet Café Manager for Logic Communications and as a managing partner etc. in Matcham & Matcham Design & Advertising for 20 years.
Ms. Matcham has won many design and advertising awards during her career and describes herself as a keen advocate of the environment, people and animals.
Ms. Matcham states, “I am extremely pleased to lend my expertise, creativity and support to the very important work the Centre on Philanthropy performs in Bermuda.”
“Among other things, Ms. Matcham will assist the Centre on Philanthropy with initiatives such as a membership drive and serve as an invaluable resource to our newly formed Advocacy and Community Engagement Committee”, a spokesperson said.
