The Under 11 and Under 14 All Star Cricket Games took place this weekend, with the island’s top young crickets showcasing their skills.

Under 11 All-Star Match Round Up

East All-Stars Win by 28 Runs: East All-Stars 93/1 West All-Stars 65/4

The East All-Stars won the Under 11 All-Star Game by 28 runs, the East scored a total of 93 runs losing only one wicket on the way to the total. The West team was restricted to 65 runs losing 4 wickets in their allotted overs. Ijuan Smith who scored 15 runs in 15 balls and took one wicket for seven runs was named the game’s Most Valuable Player.

Shea Hassell recorded a brilliant run out which was voted the Play if the Game.

The Under 11 Champions of East Hiscox League was shared between St. David’s Cricket Club and Bailey’s Bay. Flatt’s Victoria won the Central League and Willow Cuts won the West League.

Bank of Bermuda Foundation Under 14 All-Stars

West All-Stars won by 19 Runs: West All-Stars 131 East All-Stars 112

The West All-Stars were bowled all out for 131 in 29 overs, they then bowled the East All-Stars all out for 112 winning by 19 runs.

Davin Dill was voted the game’s MVP scoring 44 runs and recording 1 stumping, Jade Morrissey took a return catch that resulted in being the Play of the game.

St. George’s Cricket Club and Bailey’s Bay were the joint Eastern League Champions, while PHC and the Warwick Reds were the joint Western Champions.
