Jr Equestrians Continue Competing In Virginia

Kristen Bean, Lizzy Maderios, Courtney Bromby, Jesse Soares, Casey and Christian Truran traveled to Flint Hill, Virginia to compete in their first ever Combined Training event.

The show was hosted by the Old Dominion Hounds Pony Club at the Windsor Lodge Farm and offered combined tests, Jumping Derbies and Dressage.

Maderios riding Majorly Attached won the USEF Beginner Novice Event Test A with a Dressage score of 71.5% and she went clear on the Jumping portion.

Casey Truran riding Partly Cloudy was second with a Dressage score of 69% and with four jumping faults, Soares riding Crossroads Special Edition was third with a Dressage score of 66% and twelve jumping faults and Bromby on French Twist was fourth in this Division with a Dressage score of 57.5% with twelve jumping faults.

Christian Truran riding Desperado was second in his Division which had him riding the USEF Beginner Novice Event Test B with a Dressage score of 70%, a Jumping score of 12 faults and he also rode the derby portion of the course where he received 0 faults.

Due to a last minute change of horses, Bean also competed on Majorly Attached in the USEF Beginner Novice Event Test B with Dressage score of 66% and a Jumping score of 0 faults which resulted in Bean winning her Division as well.
