Video: Cup Match Cheers For Commuters

Waving flags, the sounds of horns and Cup Match cheers greeted motorists this morning [July 31] in the east end when children from the St George’s Community Centre gathered to get everyone in the holiday spirit at the round-a-bout leading in to the east end.

Dressed in light blue and dark blue and waving flags, approximately forty children between the ages of five and thirteen gathered at 7.15am this morning and greeted commuters as they passed by cheering for St George’s, waving their flags and blowing air horns. Motorists responded by tooting their horns, waving and shouting out cheers and greetings.
