Big Brothers Big Sisters Receive $1000 Donation

Kings and Queens Production hosted their first “Princess for a Day” father and daughter dinner this past June and have donated part proceeds from the event to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda with the presentation of a check in the amount of $1000.

A spokesperson said, “On behalf of Kings and Queens Production team members Gregory Darrell, Helene Benjamin and Daunette Bean, we are proud to present Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda with a check for $1000 as part proceeds from our “Princess For A Day” event which was held on June 8th 2013 at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. We know their invaluable contribution to Bermuda’s families is paramount in raising our next generation.

“We are also honored by a special acknowledgement from the Senate of Bermuda congratulating Kings and Queens Production on presenting the first father Daughter Dinner Dance to be held on the Island.

“To Senator Rabain, Senator Renee Ming and the Honorable Nalton Brangman, and the entire Senate, we at Kings and Queens Production thank you for recognizing our work in the community”.

BBBS Fund Development Director Patrina O’Connor-Paynter said, “Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda would like to applaud Kings & Queens Production on the success of “Princess for a Day”. It was a very meaningful and necessary event which strengthened the bonds between fathers and their daughters.
