Bus And Ferry Service Updated Advisory

The Department of Marine and Ports Services has advised that the St. George’s Ferry Service will remain suspended for the duration of the day [Sept 11]. It is anticipated that full services will resume tomorrow, however the public is cautioned that service is subject to change pending weather conditions.

All other commuter routes are currently operating as scheduled.

The Department of Public Transportation has advised that the ticket office at the Central Bus Terminal in Hamilton will be closed until further notice due to unpleasant fumes. The ticket booth will re-open once the matter has been rectified.

A spokesperson said, “To be clear, bus service will continue to operate out of the Central Terminal per normal, however anyone in the immediate area in need of passes, tickets or tokens should obtain them from the General Post Office or the ferry terminal on Front Street”.
