Joseph LaMorte Exhibit at Masterworks Museum
Those with an interest in watercolour painting are invited to visit the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art as they feature an exhibit of the works of American painter Joseph LaMorte, a career artist with extensive experience in not only watercolour, but also oil painting and art in advertising.
Hailing from Darien, Connecticut, LaMorte is currently in Bermuda to prepare for and welcome visitors to his exhibit, as well as instruct two workshops on watercolour technique. His experience ranges from his training at Cooper Union, The New School at NYC, and Silvermine College, with exhibits under his belt in galleries across the state of Connecticut, all helping to garner him funding for purchases of his pieces for public spaces from the American National Endowment for the Arts.
LaMorte’s exhibit will run from September 13 through September 23, 2013, with two workshops for those with an interest in watercolour running on September 20 and 21, 2013.
