Digicel Bermuda Sponsors Argo Gold Cup Team
Digicel Bermuda will be sponsoring the Digicel Business Match Racing team in this year’s Argo Group Gold Cup, taking place October 8-13.
The Digicel Business Match Racing team, formerly known as Fraser Match Racing, has competed since 2009 in numerous international events. Lance Fraser, Adam Barboza, Michael Rehe, and Nico Stefani are sailing with the team this year.
The skipper of the team, Lance Fraser, became the youngest skipper in history to compete in the World Match Race Tour when he competed in the 2010 Argo Group Gold Cup at the age of seventeen. Currently 20 years old, Fraser has been match racing for five years and is excited to compete in his fourth Argo Group Gold Cup.
“I am thrilled to have the support of Digicel for this year’s Argo Group Gold Cup and to sail under the Digicel Business Match Racing brand,” stated Mr. Fraser. “This will be the third year that our team has had Digicel support for this event and it has been invaluable to our racing success on a local and international level.”
