Woman Released From Hospital After Explosion
A 46 year old Devonshire woman who was treated for shock at the hospital after the explosion in Ariel Sands last night [Oct 16] has been released, the police said today.
A police spokesperson said, “A 46 year old Devonshire woman was treated for shock at the hospital and subsequently released following the explosion at an Ariel Sands, Devonshire residence around 6:25pm Wednesday, October 16th.
“A 63 year old Devonshire man who was also in the vicinity of the Dill Lane property at the time of the explosion was not injured and did not require hospital treatment. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
At around 6.25pm last night, a massive explosion shook Devonshire, blasting off part of the roof and walls of a Ariel Sands property, and shattering windows of surrounding homes. You can view videos/photos of the explosion and subsequent damage here.
