Cricket: Bermuda Lose Game #3 To Netherlands

In their third ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier match Bermuda recorded their first loss in Group B going down by 8 wickets to the Netherlands. They had previously defeated both Scotland and Denmark.

Playing at the ICC Academy in Dubai, Janeiro Tucker won the toss and elected to bat, Bermuda scored 144/8 in their allotted 20 overs, Tucker was the top scorer with 51 before being run out, Tuckers’ runs came off 25 deliveries hitting seven fours and two sixes, Lionel Cann added 33 off 28, Dion Stovell scored 17 from 19. Malik Jamil was the pick of The Netherlands bowlers with figures of 4-0-15-2.

In reply The Netherlands scored 145/2 in 16 overs, Stephan Myburgh was the top scored with 78 not out and Wesley Barresi added 45, Jacobi Robinson led the Bermuda bowling attack claiming both wickets to finish with figures of 4-0-27-2.
