New Website To Search Jobs In Bermuda
A new easy to use website has just been created with the sole aim of making it easier to find a job in Bermuda. www.jobsinbda.com is showcases all jobs currently available in Bermuda by gathering jobs currently posted in local media and agencies in order to create a full list of current active jobs.
A spokesperson for the website said, “The site also provides some content on working in Bermuda, techniques in writing CV’s/Resumes/Letters and appropriate interview behaviour.
“It provides links to the existing websites on-island which have been established to provide information on scholarships and will collate all internship and apprenticeship opportunities available in Bermuda to ensure that students only need to visit one website when they start that all-important search for their first job.
“Right now, there are over 160 jobs on the site showing that there is no shortage of opportunities for employment in Bermuda. Anyone looking for a job in Bermuda can use the search function to narrow jobs by keywords, location, job category or by type of job. Users can also register with the website and setup alerts which will notify them when a certain job is listed on the site.
“Furthermore, companies looking to advertise their jobs can simply fill out the online form with their job description and after verification, the job will be listed free of charge. There are no complicated forms to complete and posting is simple and quick.
“As local media and agencies are reviewed regularly, jobs are posted daily with all application details available without having to login and create a profile making the job search process quick and easy.”
The website went live on 1st October 2013.

the quote “the site provides some content on working in Bermuda…” says it all
waste of time!
Bermuda is NOT working
Look at that. Two people who could not be bothered to click on the site & have a look.
Lots of jobs there for the taking. Lots of them need real skills & qualifications. A bunch will be permit renewals with no Bermudians to fill the positions.
However there are also a bunch of no skill or low skill jobs which need able bodied people with a good attitude towards work.
Who says there is no work out there?
‘no shortage of opportunities’? 160 positions vs 2000(or more)jobless bermudians? i don’t know that type of math
site looks good though..hopefully it will help a few of us to achieve employment
