PLP Hosting ‘Family Reunion’ Event This Evening
The Progressive Labour Party is inviting the public to a “PLP Family Reunion,” this evening [Nov 9] at the BIU Headquarters beginning at 5:30 pm.
“We believe that our people need to know that they are not alone and that the things that unite us are more important than the things that divide us,” said PLP Chairman Maynard Dill.
“The PLP Family Reunion is not just about the PLP’s 50th Anniversary, its about reminding everyone that we are more than a political organization, more than a movement, we are a family.
“When Bermudians act like a family and treat each other like brothers and sisters, the things we can accomplish are staggering.
“At this time, more than ever, we should engage in fellowship, embrace each other and move forward together. Tonight, come and let us sit as one family,”
The PLP Family Reunion is a free event this Saturday November 9th at the BIU Headquarters starting at 5:30 pm. There will be food, music, dancing and fellowship. All members of the public are invited to attend.
