Third Woman Arrested After Saturday’s Assault
A third woman has been arrested following the assault on Saturday evening [Nov 9] which saw a 26 year woman hospitalised after an altercation in Bailey’s Bay.
The 22-year-old St George’s woman is the third female arrested after the incident, with the police saying the two other women arrested remain in custody and are expected to appear in Court in “due course.”
A police spokesperson said, “Another 22 year old St. George’s woman has been arrested in connection with the reported assault that occurred around 10pm Saturday, November 9th in the Ducks Puddle Drive, Hamilton parish area. She was later released on police bail pending further inquiries.
“The two St. George’s women aged 22 and 25 years old respectively originally arrested in connection with this matter remain in police custody. Their court appearance is anticipated in due course.
“Detectives continue to investigate this incident and encourage witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the Ducks Puddle Drive, Hamilton parish area around 10pm Saturday to contact the St. George’s Criminal Investigation Unit on 293-2222.”
In their initial statement, the police said a “bladed article” was used, and unofficial reports indicate that it was a machete.

so how many girls can u charge for using one weapon at the same time to commit the wounding offence….did they take turns?
Guilty by association or better still, accessory to the crime…wilful knowledge…previously slated…weapon in hand n 3 concocted stories…if u can’t do the time u shouldn’t commit the crime…
