  1. Grow up says:

This is very unfortunate ladies. This is not the type of stuff you should allegedly be doing; especially as mothers to young kids. Time to grow up.

    • Shaking Head says:

Can we take a guess as to who the two dislikers are? lol

    • No I am waiting on the joker who thought they were Jamaicans.
These are Bermudian women, daughters of the soil and regardless who they are it is wrong, so I agree with the comments of Grow up and add my own comments for the Joker that wanted to blame another nationality when the story first broke’

PEOPLE WILL BE PEOPLE THE WORLD OVER.

    • Reas0n says:

I don’t know what kind of childhood you had, but “growing up” doesn’t usually mean leaving the machete attacks behind…

      • Grow up says:

Childhood is irrelevant! These are mothers! I think that’s a good enough reason to grow their a**** up!

  2. Enough says:

SHame they weren’t thinking about their young children when they were out….. There is always and excuse grow up and start acting in a responsible manner

  3. bornb says:

Sad! This is what some of our young women are resorting to….what glamour is in the gangster/gangstress life …. 2 ways out – death or jail. Appaulling

  4. Tupac says:

Don’t bring a machete yo a plastic cup fight. Just saying….

  5. FoodForThought says:

A woman allegedly assaults someone with machetes? Machetes?!? This weapon of choice has become an increasingly popular choice on the island; from irruptions at a Good Friday party in 2011 to arguments at the racetrack in 2013. Let’s not forget the young man who almost hacked a man’s arm off this past July with… you guessed it, a machete. This is the same weapon that was used during the Rwandan Genocide:

“Organized gangs of government soldiers and militias hacked their way through the Tutsi population with machetes, or blew them up in churches where they had taken refuge”. (BBC; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-13431486)

All of this because someone allegedly threw a cup at the car these two were in? Surely the woman who allegedly threw the cup did wrong although did this “cup” break the windscreen? Did this “cup” scratch the paint? Did this “cup” endanger lives? Or did the action of the alleged “cup throwing” simply enrage those in the car? We all know that two wrongs do not make a right… and apparently, two wrongs will lead these two to the Supreme Court.

Violence is never the answer although, when one chooses a weapon that exudes such mayhem and that has a history of primitive behavior, how can a court decide that these two women should even be near their children at all? Perhaps it’s better for the children if a social worker stepped in while these “ladies” wait to give their plea.

Bermuda should not be a society that radiates hate and violence; we are a unique society full of love and potential for peace. We are all here living together on this tiny island. Let’s work out our differences. Next time someone throws a cup at you… make sure you ask them to throw another cup – full of water – so your car can simultaneously get a wash. Turn the other cheek if you will.

Bermuda: Practice patience, love and respect. Supreme Court: Practice giving harsher punishments to those who have little respect for human life.

      Bazinga!

      • Real Deal says:

We all dont see things the same because we come from diffrent back grounds.

Throwing somthing at some one is very Serious to me and a lot of other people. most of the people that feel it is serious are not targets for robbers or bullies.

When you threw somthing at someone your are doing more then just throughing an object. This is the think that kids dont understand and thats why they need licks if they do something like that so that when the grow up they wont get choped.

  6. tricks are for kids.... says:

Sign of the times for sure……

    Vanessa ……really????

  7. Concerned says:

    Throwing a cup???? Materialism at it’s worse…

Man there was no fighting, no stabbing, no killing no real hate, nothing, they just kept celebrating like good friendly rivalries going at it. So why do we have so much hate and peeps wanting to kill one another always, most are family and friends. I know USA is huge and a lot of stuff goes on but I’m tired of peeps always saying , it happens all over the world. WE ARE F***** BDA GUYS,….. BERMUDA for Gods sakes. WE need to fix this crap.. 12. Say Say Say says:

Maybe be all dey all’s chillrens gots de same Deddy!!

  13. REALEST says:

The Lord said Judge not and be not judged!! REMEMBER THAT ! Cuz all that matters is when your judged on judgement day. It’ll be something when your at the pearly gates and God brings up your bernews comments on your way to hell while the ppl you judged float past you n u have no clue how they got to heaven! but who am i to judge?? get the point?? now get offline!

    • Grow up says:

No actually I don’t get your point. I believe you went slightly off topic.

  14. Peace and Happiness says:

These young ladies should be ashamed of themselves if guilty. What are they showing/teaching their kids. If convicted they need the maximum penalty and whatever else can be given for what they have been accused of doing. Regardless what was allegedly thrown or said nobody deserves to be attacked with a machete. At the end of the day the children are the ones that are going to suffer if they are found guilty.

    • Kangoocar says:

Totally agree with all you said except, you called them ladies???? Believe me, they are not ladies!!! I have a whole bunch of names I could call them, but I will refrain for now!!!

  15. Next says:

These hoodrats should be home raising their children instead of being out at clubs allegedly fighting with machetes

  16. X man says:

    CRAZY STUFF !
Anyone can clearly see that the social fabric of Bermuda has took a change for the worse – especial when
Mothers of young Children are charged with resorting to violence with sharp weapons instead of concentrating on the walfare and up bringing of there Children.
What will there Children grow up to be.

  17. Concerned says:

I wonder how long before BBCC loses their liquor licence because of all of the violent behavior that is taking place on their premises
