Basketball: St George’s, Hamilton Parish Win
The Bermuda Basketball Elite City League Season continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
In Game 1 the St George’s International got a last second shot from Billy Dunn to secure a two point victory over the Hamilton Tsunamis 43 – 41.
Dean Jones scored 12 points to lead the St. George’s International’s to victory, while Kevin Stevens scored a game high 28 points but in a losing effort for the Hamilton Tsunamis.
Game Two saw the Hamilton Parish Chargers 67 – 59 win over the Warwick Rim Rockers.
Jaren Haley scored a game high 21 points for the Hamilton Parish Chargers, while Chris Crumpler scored 15 points for the Warwick Rim Rockers.
