Results: Flying Colours Fat Tire Massive Race
On December 1, 2013, under perfect conditions, the Flying Colours Fat Tire Massive Race series saw 101 out of 148 registered racers turn up to do battle along the long flat straights over looking the boat yards, clock tower and the many restaurants located around the area.
As well as high speed straights, racers also had to contend with tight narrow doorways while racing though the buildings of Casemate’s Prison. As predicted, the less trail-seasoned road racers were able to pick up a few positions and points on the relatively smooth flowing 1.8 mile course.
The next race really starts to amp up skill levels and fitness. On December 15th, the Flying Colours race series takes over [for at least the morning] Admiralty House, located in Pembroke.
