Veterans In Action To Host Party On Saturday

Veterans in Action is getting set to host a free party in order to celebrate the holiday season, with giveaways arranged for the evening that could see you leave with a new bike, cell phone, or any other number of great prizes.

A spokesperson for the event said, “We recognize that many people are saving their money for the holidays in a time where every penny counts. We have decided to have a free event at Docksiders this Saturday [Dec 7] after the boat parade.

“In keeping with the festive period, we are asking that patrons wear green and white to receive free admission. After the boat parade, we encourage revelers to head on down Front Street to Docksiders where they can listen to the best of 90s music. Entertainment for the night will be provided by YGS, BlackStar, Reality, DJ Chubb from VIBE 103 FM, and the legendary Magnum Force International.

“Free admission is not always enough! Through the gracious support of Digicel, VIBE 103 and WKD, a free bike, free gift certificates, and free smartphones will be given away. Attendees will receive a free ticket upon entering Docksiders for the chance to win.

“Winners must be present to collect their prizes. There will be an assortment of drink specials available. So enjoy the parade with loved ones and then join us for the only free party in town. Wear green and white.”

The Veterans in Action holiday party will take place at Docksiders on the evening of Saturday, December 7.
