Basketball League: Pembroke & Somerset Win
In Bermuda Basketball Premier Elite League action inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium a double header took place, with the Pembroke Cane Toads and Somerset Flyers both racking up wins.
In the first game of the night the Pembroke Cane Toads defeated the Hamilton Parish Chargers 62 – 60, Jericho Tucker led the Pembroke Cane Toads to victory with a game high 18 points, while Akil Smith scored 17 points.
In the nightcap the Somerset Flyers defeated the Warwick RimRockers 64 – 47. Keiron Dill led the Somerset Flyers to victory with a game high 20 points, while both Chris Crumpler and Ronnie Bushner from the Warwick RimRockers scored 13 points each.
