The Ministry of Community, Culture and Sports and the National Sports Governing Bodies [NSGB] have developed a National Sports Policy Framework that is available for the public to review and comment.

The Department of Youth Sport and Recreation in conjunction with the NSGB have been working on the creation of a Sports Policy to be voted and ratified at the National Sports Conference in mid-February.

The full document is available online on and the deadline for written submissions is January 27, 2014. Submission can be emailed to or mailed to National Sports Policy, c/o Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation, Craig Appin House, 8 Wesley Street, Hamilton HM 11.
