New Music Video: Miranda Scott’s “Don’t Go”

January 3, 2014

A singer that visited the island over the summer recorded a music video on the beach while staying at the Fairmont Southamptom resort, connecting a song that touches on love and romance with some of the most beautiful scenery that Bermuda has to offer.

Graced by the song “Don’t Go” by Miranda Scott, the video features long shots taken on the Fairmont Southampton beach, with other shots of scenes from around Bermuda featured throughout. While shot this past summer, the video only made its online debut this week.

Ms. Scott attends NYU/Tisch School of the Arts. She has won YoungArts awards for popular voice two years in a row, with “Don’t Go,” an original song, selected to be featured on the YoungArts 2014 CD.

The song was written by Ms. Scott herself, produced by Neil Scott Johnson at NSJ Studio, mixed by Gabe MG, and mastered by Mark B. Christensen, with assistance from Nacor Zuluaga, at Engine Room Audio.
