Greenrock President Dr. Landsberg Steps Down

January 3, 2014

Greenrock President Dr Judith Landsberg will be stepping down as she will move to Australia, however she plans to stay involved in the organization’s work.

A post on Greenrock’s website said, “After nearly 5 years on the Greenrock Management Committee, half of those as President, the time has come to step down.

“I am excited by the opportunity to return home to Australia, to take my children to get to know their cousins, and to spend time with my parents, but it is certainly with mixed emotions that I leave Bermuda and the Greenrock Management Committee.

Dr. Landsberg speaking at the Earth Hour celebrations in March 2013:

“However, I plan to stay involved, moving onto the Greenrock Board of Directors under the Chairmanship of Nick Campbell, and stepping back from day-to-day management of Greenrock’s activities,” continued Dr. Landsberg.

“My work for the organization would not have been possible without the patience and support of my husband and family – who put up with frequent absences, distraction, calls for help, and brainstorming over dinner- for which I am very grateful.

“I have learnt a great deal personally and professionally through Greenrock, and I hope to continue to draw on this to give back to the community wherever I am.”
