Woman Crashes Into Wall, Arrested For DUI
A 56 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after crashing her car into a wall in Pembroke yesterday.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 6:50pm on Monday, January 27th police officers attended a reported single vehicle damage only collision on North Shore Road in Pembroke near the junction with Berkeley Road.
“It appears that a car was being driven along North Shore Road when it collided with a wall. The driver, a 56 year old Pembroke woman, was not injured and subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
“The car received extensive front end damage and was towed from the scene,” added the police spokesperson.
“Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”

All the people worried about drivers being stoned if pot was legal need to take a look around them. We have drunks all over our roads! Maybe you prohibition loving people should put your efforts into discouraging drunk driving. Just a thought.
Some people are just plain stupid and hard-headed!!! There is a “saying” – If you want to dance – then you have to pay for the band!!!
In this case her car repairs and insurance rates – which will get much higher for this DUI offense!!
And if they legalize “dope” then there are going to be drunks and “pot-heads” driving under the influence…DOUBLE trouble!!!
Marijuana in not dope, crack is dope. But its not legal! So there’s lots of work for you to be doing to get rid of drunk drivers! Better get started times a wastin!
If Government took down all these dangerous walls, then accidents like this wouldn’t happen. I blame PLP. No UBP. Actually its EXPATS that are to blame. And the PORK and CHEESE.
