Allen & Wright Win Ed Sherlock 5-Mile Race

Stephen Allen and Laura Wright ran to victory on Sunday [Feb 16] in the 2014 Ed Sherlock Five Mile Road Race.

Stephen Allen, following up his win two weeks ago in the Butterfield & Vallis 5K, ran away from the chasing pack from the start crossing the line in a time of 26.41 followed by Omari Hart who finished in 31.02.

Keyshe Robinson was fourth across the line in a time of 34:14 and was also the first junior male runner. Trevor Lindsay was fifth overall to cross the line clocking 34:14.

Laura Wright was third overall breaking the tape in a time of 33:58. Sharon Craig finished 14th overall and was the second female finisher recording a time of 38:17 and one spot back was Mairi Redmond who had a time of 38:30. Kimberley Terceira’s time of 39:29 saw her cross the line as the fourth Female finisher and 17th overall.
