Photos, Results: Butterfield & Vallis 5K Race

Stephen Allen and Jennifer Alen are the 2014 Butterfield and Vallis 5K male and female champions, while Jayden Ming and Ashley Irby raced to victory in the junior race.

Stephen Allen ran away from all his competitors on his way to victory clocking a time of 16:05, while seventeen year old Daniel Oatley capped off his weekend finishing second in a time of 17:16 after he reached the qualifying standard for the Carifta Games yesterday. Fifteen year old Tyler Smith finished third crossing the line in a time of 17:31.

Jennifer Alen finished 10th overall clocking a time of 18:48 as the first female, while Deon Breary finished with a time of 19:12 and Victoria Fiddick finished as the third female finisher in a time of 19:57.

Jayden Ming ran to victory in the junior race when he broke the tape in a time of 9:12. Ryan Outerbridge finished second with a time of 9:24, and Robert Thomas finished third junior boy with a time of 9:46.

Ashley Irby crossed the line third overall recording a time of 9:38 while Lynsey Palmer was the second junior female runner with a time of 9:50, and Messiah Greaves finished 9th overall with a time of 10:04. The full results of today’s race can be found at Bermuda Timing.
