BPWA’s Candle Lighting Ceremony Cancelled

The Executive Committee of the Business and Professional Women’s Association of Bermuda [BPWA] announced that the candle lighting ceremony in celebration of International Women’s Day has been cancelled.

A spokesperson said, “Notwithstanding the event’s cancellation, BPWA wishes everyone a Happy International Women’s Day on 8 March 2014. BPWA will be hosting a viewing of the documentary Girl Rising on 12 April 2014, and more details will be forthcoming.

“We encourage all attendees and interested persons to email bpwabermuda@yahoo.com or visit our website bpwabermuda.webs to be kept apprised of future BPWA events.”
