Masterworks To Host Photographic Exhibit

The Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art is getting set to present the works of two photographers who aim to expand the field of photographic biography, with the show, dubbed Biography Photography, set to open at 5.30pm on March 28, 2014.

A spokesperson said, “Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art presents the innovative works of award winning artists Jüliz Ritchie and Antoine Hunt. Expanding the field of biographical and photographic expressions into the museum of experimentation and intellectual inquiry, the artists creatively reassess the themes and process of making portraits.

“Conflated genres, carefully composed “mise un scene” and conceptual process intertwine to generate the images that form the gateway into the complex worlds of their subjects and their narrative.

“The exhibit will run from Friday, March 28, 2014 through Wednesday, April 9, 2014.”
