CedarBridge Academy To Host Vocational Fair
CedarBridge Academy will be hosting a Vocational Career Fair on May 2 from 10.00am through 2.00pm in the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium, helping its students to explore their career options as they progress towards graduation.
A spokesperson said, “The purpose of the Vocational Career Fair is to allow each student to explore career aspirations and assess their life-planning skills. It will also give them the invaluable opportunity to connect with potential mentors, internship possibilities, and work experiences related to their career goals.
“The ultimate focus of the Career Fair is to provide students with career awareness, planning resources, and community connections that will extend the process of learning beyond Senior School.
“Businesses represented will include Air Care, BELCO, Bermuda Gas, Bermuda Fire and Rescue, Bermuda Post Office, Bermuda Hospitals Board, Casiey Landscaping, D&J Construction, Department of Corrections, Fairmont Hamilton and Fairmont Southampton Resort, Grotto Bay, Noble Automotive, The Marketplace, Bermuda Telephone Company, Orchid Nail Spa, and Onion Patch Nursery,
“We are hoping that attending businesses will be able to provide the students with an in-depth look into various industries, exposing them to the expectations of the business, the skills required, and education criteria necessary to work within each field.”
