Snooker: Bermuda Open Singles, Doubles Finals

The Bermuda Snooker Association held the Bermuda Open Doubles and Singles Finals at the Spanish Point Boat Club.

The Doubles team of Zane DeSilva and Steven Bremar defeated Keith Smith and Daniel Caines 3 straight games. DeSilva and Bremar won the first game 51-28, they then won the second game 66-41 and then they closed out the match winning the third game 70-51. Bremar had a break of 28 in the second game.

Bremar then turned his attention to the Singles Final where he would take on Tyler Moniz in a race to four.

In game one Bremar would defeat Moniz 58 – 51, Bremar came from behind to win on black re-spot. Bremar would go ahead 2 – 0 when he won the second game 64 – 20, but Moniz would get back into the match when he won the third game 66 – 42 to make the score 2 – 1.

Bremar would win game four 65 – 18 to take a 3 – 1 lead and then he would close out the match winning the fifth game 46 – 37 to claim the title winning 4 – 1.
