Jones & Lloyd-Hines Win Senior Championship
The third and final round of the 2014 Senior Amateur Championships took place yesterday [May 14] at Riddell’s Bay Golf & Country Club.
The Men’s Champion was Arthur Jones who was very consistent with rounds of 70,71 & 72 for a Gross Total of 213. He was closely pursued by Hav Trott who ended up with a total score of 216. The defending champion Jeffrey Lindo never really challenged the leaders in this event and trouble on the 18th hole added to his woes and he ended up taking fourth place.
In the Ladies Championship flight, Kathy Lloyd-Hines was a convincing winner having led from the start and ended 17 shots ahead of her next competitor, Katrin Burnie.
