Taxi Meter Testing At TCD Postponed A Week

May 2, 2014

Due to a problem with calibration equipment, taxi meter testing scheduled for this weekend has been postponed by a week.

A Ministry spokesperson said, “The Transport Control Department [TCD] had planned to be open this weekend [May 3rd and 4th] for taxi meter testing for the new rates.

“However, due to a problem with calibration equipment that will not be fixed until next week, the testing at TCD has been postponed until the weekend of May 10th and 11th.

“Taxi drivers have the new rates and the rate card so they can still operate using the new rates.”

Tcd always has problems. If it’s not the flooding in the car park, the bathrooms don’t. But now they have meter issues. They might as well shut down HAHAHAHAHA

    Sounds legit doesn’t it?
