QuoVadis Launches Subsidiary In Belgium

June 18, 2014

QuoVadis has expanded its operations into Belgium to accommodate the growing needs of its European customers. Founded in Bermuda in 1999, QuoVadis already has offices in Switzerland, Holland, and the United Kingdom.

The new subsidiary, QuoVadis Trustlink BVBA, has been accredited by the Belgian Ministry of Economic Affairs [FOD Economie] as a qualified issuer of digital certificates for legally valid electronic signatures.

“EU initiatives like eIDAS are creating a unified market for electronic identity and signature across Europe,” said Roman Brunner, CEO of QuoVadis. “However, while the use of the technologies will span borders, their implementation is firmly local. We are expanding the network of QuoVadis offices to get closer to our customers, combining our global experience with knowledge of local business practices and software partners.”

The QuoVadis Trust/Link Enterprise system facilitates the registration and rollout of digital certificates for large customer groups, including outsourced/managed PKI for companies. QuoVadis also provides software and cloud services for digital signatures, allowing organisations to assert the authenticity of files and data and enabling users on mobile devices to create legal signatures on documents and transactions.

QuoVadis is active in public eID programmes, such as PKIoverheid and eHerkenning in Holland and SuisseID in Switzerland, which are designed to facilitate electronic transactions between citizens, business, and government.
