Aspen U.S. Appoints Jeff Canfield As Senior VP
Aspen U.S. Insurance, part of the insurance segment of Bermuda-based Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited, announced that Jeff Canfield has joined as Senior Vice President, Product Line Leader, Excess Casualty.
Reporting to Roxanne Mitchell, Executive Vice President, Casualty, Jeff will lead Excess Casualty, one of the four product lines within the new U.S. Casualty structure – the other three being Real Estate / Hospitality, Construction and Products Liability.
Working closely with management and the full Casualty team, Mr. Canfield will lead and execute the Excess Casualty strategy to ensure this is focused on targeted growth of the book across the U.S. Insurance footprint.
Mr. Canfield joins Aspen with nearly twenty years of experience in underwriting, claims and broker relations. Prior to joining Aspen, Jeff was responsible for the profitable growth of an excess casualty book at AIG, managing a national team of underwriters, and he has also worked in claims at Amica Insurance. Jeff holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Richmond.
