Wind River Changes Name To Global Indemnity
Effective June 10th, 2014, Wind River Reinsurance Company Ltd. changed its name to Global Indemnity Reinsurance Company Ltd to “better align with its publically traded parent company Global Indemnity Plc.”
Global Indemnity Reinsurance Company Ltd., based in Bermuda, is a wholly-owned non-US reinsurance operating subsidiary of Global Indemnity plc, Ireland. Global Indemnity Reinsurance Company Ltd. provides reinsurance solutions through brokers, primary writers [including regional insurance companies] and program managers. It also participates as a retrocessionaire on business assumed by other reinsurers.
