Minister Scott Congratulates Futsal Team
Minister Community, Culture and Sports Wayne Scott, today congratulated the Footy Force Cadet Team for winning the World Futsal Cup Silver Division at the World Futsal Championship in Orlando, Florida.
Minister Scott said, “The team of very talented young players is to be commended for this accomplishment. Having finished fourth in Group A, the Bermuda team went on to defeat Canadian Centurions team and they beat the Legends in the final match. Their determination certainly paved the way for their ultimate success, capturing the World Futsal Silver Division Cup.”
The Minister added, “The team, coaches and administrative staff are to be commended for their bringing home the cup. I wish continued success to the Bermuda Futsal Federation.”
