Smith & Hawley Compete In Relays In China
Bermuda’s Tyler Smith and Erica Hawley were back in action in China taking part in the 4x Mixed Triathlon Relay’s final at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.
Smith was put on the America’s 3rd team that finished 11th with a time of 1:29:04, Smith competed the swim in 3:24, then covered the bike distance in 10:08 before clocking a time of 6:23 on the run course for an overall time of 19:55.
Hawley led off the World 2nd Team that finished 16th. Hawley clocked a 22:17, she recorded a time of 3:27 on the swim, 11:06 on the bike and 7:44 on the run course.
