BSoA Set To Host Kokadomus Workshop
The Bermuda Society of Arts [BSoA] is getting set to host a Kokadomus making workshop with Omari Dill on September 27, 2014 from 12.30pm to 2.00pm.
The entry fee for the workshop is $45 for members and $50 for non-members. All materials will be provided and participants will be able to bring home the two plants that they create.
Ms. Dill is a graduate from Earth University in Limort, Costa Rica, with a degree [Licentiate] in Agronomy [Agriculture Engineering]. She is currently an instructor of the Vocational Educational Program “Basic Agriculture” at The Prison Farm Facility of the Government Department of Corrections.
Ms. Dill also serves on the boards of the charities The Bermuda Agriculture Group [BAG], an organization dedicated to educating local schools and communities on agriculture through community gardens and farm summer camps, and Transitions Bermuda, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building resilience in Bermuda by reducing the population’s dependence on fossil fuels.
