Burchall Brothers Bowl Regatta Results
Six comets took part in the Burchall Brothers Bowl Regatta this weekend, that saw the sailors and their crew race from the West End Sailboat Club across the Great Sound around Five Star Island and back.
Racing got underway in light air, however Rockal Evans and Christina Bernard managed to sail away from the rest of the fleet. They had built up almost a four minute lead when they rounded Five Star Island, a rain squall blew through and the wind dropped allowing the fleet to close in on the leaders, however Evans was able to hold off a challenge from Maxwell Curtis and Stefan Furbert to go on for the victory.
