Hamilton Insurance Appoint Eduard Pulkstenis
Hamilton Insurance Group today announced that Eduard J. Pulkstenis has joined its US operations, Hamilton USA, in the position of President, Small Business.
Reporting to CEO Conan Ward, Mr. Pulkstenis will oversee all aspects of the development of the small business market segment for Hamilton USA.

Mr. Pulkstenis brings over 25 years’ experience in commercial lines business to his new position, most recently at Harbor Point Consulting Partners, a firm he co-founded to provide consultative advice regarding business strategy, business intelligence and other solutions to small businesses, insurance distributors, carriers and other participants in the insurance market.
Prior to establishing Harbor Point Consulting Partners, Mr. Pulkstenis held executive positions in a number of insurance companies, including Executive Vice President, Commercial Lines at Tower Group Companies and Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer at The Hartford Financial Services Group.
From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Pulkstenis was employed in increasingly senior positions at Selective Insurance Group, holding the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer before leaving the company to join The Hartford.
Mr. Pulkstenis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and is a Certified Insurance Counselor.
