Smith Scores In Kemi Kings Win Over KPV

Bermuda’s Jonte Smith scored the first goal of the game on Saturday [Sept 20], as his Kemi Kings team romped to a 3 – 1 win over KPV in the Finnish pro league.

Smith opened the scoring in the 25th minute, it was a lead that the Kemi Kings held until the half-time break.

Four minutes into the second half the Kemi Kings lead was doubled as Sasa Jovovic found the back of the net, and Konsta Tastula pulled a goal back for PVS in the 66th minute making it 2 – 1.

The Kemi Kings’ Williams Ions scored in the 70th minute, and the Kings walked away with the 3 – 1.

The young Bermudian striker has been a consistently good performer since moving to the Finnish side in March 2014, and has scored over 20 goals already this season.
