Bank Of Butterfield To Close At 1pm On Thurs.
The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited said hat due to the approach and potential impact of Hurricane Gonzalo, Butterfield Banking Centres and offices will close at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, 16 October and will remain closed on Friday, 17 October and Saturday, 18 October.
A spokesperson said, “The safety of our customers and employees is our highest priority. The Bank will reopen for normal business when it is safe for us to do so.
“Some Butterfield ATMs that are exposed to the elements will be taken offline intentionally beginning today [Wednesday, 15 October].
“Butterfield Online will continue to be available for transactions, however the processing of some requests [received after 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, 16 October] may be delayed until the Bank reopens for business.
“We regret any inconvenience this may cause.”
