Basketballers Heading To Guyana In March

The Bermuda Basketball Association has sent an acceptance letter to the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation [GABF] confirming their participation in three exhibition games against the Guyana National Team in March of 2015.

The games will be held at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall and will give the Guyana National Team a warm up heading into the 2015 Caribbean Basketball Confederation [CBC] Championships scheduled for July of next year in the British Virgin Islands [BVI].

The last time Guyana played Bermuda was at the 2011 CBC Championships in Bahamas where Bermuda won 68-58.

Bermuda placed fifth at the Championships while Guyana placed seventh.

    Please ensure to take with you any mosquito fighting sprays, insecticides,creams, citronella oil, mosquito nets or coils — you will need them seriously….Guyana is loaded with mosquitoes, as I’ve been told by my very good friend who is a native of that country.
