38 Year Old Man In ICU, 57 Year Old Arrested
A 38 year old man is in critical condition in the ICU following an altercation at around 3:10am on Saturday [Nov 8] on Union Street, while a 57 year old man has been arrested in connection with the matter.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:10am on Saturday, November 8th first responders were dispatched to a report of persons fighting on Union Street in Pembroke.
“Details remain unclear at this time; however an injured 38 year old Bermudian man was located at the scene and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
“A 57 year old Bermudian man has been arrested in connection with this matter and remains in police custody.
“Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses should contact the Criminal Investigation Unit on telephone number 247-1383 or 247-1429. Alternatively anyone with information can contact the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”
