74 International Gymnasts To Attend Challenge

The Bermuda Gymnastics Association [BGA] will be holding its 4th Annual International Gymnastics Challenge on Saturday [Nov 8] with 74 gymnasts from New York and Pennsylvania set to attend the weekend of gymnastics.

The BGA said, “The competition will showcase Bermuda’s very best gymnasts ages 7 – 17, including USAIGC Champions and Island Games Medalists. All of the athletes participating are dedicated student-athletes who devote up to twenty hours per week to the sport, and this annual meet is a great way for the Bermuda community to come together and support them!”

A look at last year’s International Gymnastics Challenge

The following teams will travel to Bermuda:

• GymNation from Riverhead, New York
• NYCElite from New York City, New York
• Hill’s Gymnastics from Deer Park, New York
• Gymnastics of York from York, Pennsylvania

The competition will take place in three sessions as follows:

• 9am – “Copper” Level [Beginner gymnasts]
• 11:30am – “Bronze” Level [Intermediate gymnasts]
• 3pm – “Silver, Gold, Platinum” Levels [advanced gymnasts]

Admission is $10 adults, $5 for children and children under 5 years old are free.

Door prizes will be drawn and a bake sale will be held.
